Raindrops keep falling on my head.
Sure that's another movie altogether, but I would wager the film makers behind Singing in the rain were not as picky about their raindrops as the makers of Matrix Revolutions.
Since the last great battle between Smith and Neo happens during a great rain storm, the fx team wanted to make the rain look just as amazing as the rest of the film. Apparently that means spending almost 2 months just to make the perfect rain drop.
Mary Alice took over the role of the Oracle due to the death of Gloria Foster just before filming began.
