“Who am I? Do you really want to know?”

How much would you pay for an original Spiderman suit that Tobey Maguire wears in the film? Then again, if you’re legally challenged and criminally minded, you might just prefer to steal the suits, and forego paying altogether. Which is, of course, what happened in April of 2001. Four Spidey suits were stolen from the costume department on the production set.
Columbia Pictures announced a reward of 25,000 dollars for the safe return of the suits, but they were never returned and the thieves were never caught.
It could just be me, but I can’t see why a person would risk incarceration for a pair of Spiderman pajamas when they can buy a pair at Wal-Mart for 10 dollars. Sure, the Wal-Mart suit wouldn’t have Tobey Maguire’s butt mark in them, but I can only see that as a good thing.

Always a bridesmaid and never the guy in the spidey suit. Did you know that Leonardo DiCaprio and Freddie Prinze Jr were both considered for the role of Peter Parker. Also, James Franco originally auditioned for the leading role, but was instead cast as Harry Osborn, Peter’s best buddy and son to the Green Goblin himself.

You know, he may be an unusually acrobatic and chivalrous uncaped crusader, but I tell you this. I’ve had lots of hang-ups, but never once have I found the Spider-man. Curious.
